    IME Group Weekly Virtual Challenges

    The last week of the second block of challenges for the group has seen some further amazing results. Well done everyone!

    For the boys this week, Ross has once again improved his time in the 60m with an impressive 08.20. Mum/coach, Alison is also a qualified timekeeper, so that hat trick of PBs over the last three weeks will be spot on. Cameron's first event in this block was the 1K, recording an excellent time of 03.58.00.

    The girls are going from strength to strength too. Ella has improved her time in the 1K for a third week in a row too and seems to have caught the bug for the longer distance runs again, which is great. She clocked a 04.15.57 making that around a 30 second improvement over the three weeks! Ella also ran the 60m in 9.56 which is another unofficial PB this week!

    Lauren is also continuing to pull down her 60m time with a 09.56 and improved on her 1K with a time this week, running it in 03.50.00. She did all three events, which is fantastic, and jumped a solid 1.73m in the SLJ. Lucie went for the 1k this week, with a great first effort of 04.29.28.

    Delighted to see these young athletes focused, having fun and improving. Next week the new block of weekly virtual challenges is the 80m and an 800m. Parents should have already received an email with further details. We're looking forward to hearing how you all get on. If you are in Lesley's group and haven't taken part so far, give it a go! Remember to warm up and cool down/stretch too.
