Training schedule for the Edinburgh Marathon on May 25
Tuesdays + Thursdays: 6.30pm at the Boathouse Gym, Strathclyde Park.
Saturdays: 9.30am, Wishaw Track (from Saturday April 19).
Sundays: 9am or 9.30am at the Boathouse Gym for a recovery run.
Wednesdays: Wishaw Track, 6.15pm-7.30pm.
Saturdays: 9.30am, Wishaw Track (from Saturday April 12). This is mainly for the advanced group of sprinters and middle distance runners. Long jump coaching is also available at these sessions.
For junior/intermediate groups, endurance, cross-country and hill training. Meet at 11.15am at the Garden Centre car park within Chatelherault, Hamilton.

Our coaches recommend that all athletes have a pair of spikes to assist grip on the frequently wet surface of the track at Wishaw.
The Nike Rival Zoom (pictured above) is recommended for youngsters/newcomers/all-round use. They should cost in the region of £30.
