27 keen road runners, including 4 first timers, took part in the July time trial on a wet and windswept evening.
First female was Pat Allan in a time of 31:05. Ian Young was first male in a time of 33:09.
Alistair Kerr picked up the wooden spoon for a well below par performance (so wrote Joe Hoolaghan).

This year's 3k Track Championship Time Trial at Wishaw tonight attracted 18 runners.
Stuart Riley was first male on 10mins 07secs and Lesanne Cherry first female on 14mins 05secs.
The lap counters were Stephen Irwin, Jane Wedlock, Jim Tracey and Carol Ferguson. Thanks to them for helping out.
There was a record turnout for the Track and Field Championships, the results of which will be announced at the prize-giving later this year. Photos can be found here - thanks to our resident photographer John McCluskey!
Thanks to everyone who helped with the event.
The Track Championships take place on Wednesday, June 16, at Wishaw Track, 6-9.30pm. The handicaps are:
The next Time Trial is on Tuesday July 6 and the handicaps are:
Joe Hoolaghan has some comments on the handicaps: "The 3k estimated times are based on the best of the last three four-mile times and pro-rated by the ratio of 3k/4m.
"Since 3k is less than half of four miles, we expect participants to run at a slightly faster pace over the shorter distance. Experience has shown that our runners go at about a 7% faster pace over 3k therefore the estimate is reduced further to reflect this.
"The system has worked very well in previous years and actual times are typically very close to the estimated times.
"The list for the handicaps has become unwieldy over the last few months and has overflowed well into three pages, which is very cumbersome for starting the runners at the time trial.
"After consultation with William Martin and Jim Tracey, it was agreed that individuals who had not taken part in a time trial for one year or more would be removed from the time trial and rolling sheets.
"It should not have any real impact as runners who have not run for more than six months require to run for a marker in any case. I have an archive of all results since the time trials started so if anyone did want to know previous results, they will always be available.
"If anyone who has not run for more than one year wishes to be added back onto the sheet, if they let me know I would be more than happy to do that."

Who knows the David Bowie track Five Years?
Listen up because that's how long it took Gayle Tait to win a time trial and she did it in 29.13 tonight.
She was followed by Ian Young, the first male, on 34.25.
The wooden spoon, often referred to as the Jim Tracey award, went to Phyllis Hands for a less than memorable performance (so wrote Joe Hoolaghan).

Check your handicap for the event on Tuesday, June 1.
The results from May 2009 are here.
This month's event was won by Claire Ross in an excellent time of 7:23.
This was the second consecutive month Clare has won and the first time at the summer venue of Wishaw track.
Dionne and Rachel accompanied William round the route and they now have start times for next month.
It was clearly too much for William who did not make it over the finishing line.
Thanks to the helpers for covering the route and seeing that all the runners returned safely.
This month's event saw a turnout of 33 runners, including a guest appearance from Paul Harkins, the club's man in Luxembourg.
Catherine Wotherspoon was first female on 30mins 31secs.
Malcolm Moffat was first male on 37mins 04secs.
The wooden spoon went to Jim Tracey, who Joe Hoolaghan described as having "another lacklustre performance this evening".
The handicaps for the event on Tuesday May 4 are here.
Check back over the results from April 2009.
The rain abated in time for this month's event, which saw the number of participants down to 21, probably as a result of the Easter holidays.
Alistair Kerr was first male on 35.22 and Jessie Miller first woman on 30.49.
The wooden spoon went to a jet-lagged Jill Logan who had returned from a holiday in Japan on Monday.

A break in the weather and the April time trial went ahead last weekend, with Clare Ross running out winner.
Unusually there were no footballers and very few walkers with dogs.
Easter eggs for all and look for the runner who is no spring chicken on Flickr.
The next time trial is on Tuesday April 6 and the handicaps are here.
Results from April 2009.
The winners of this month's time trial notched significant improvements on their February performances.
Irene Kerr came in on 42.58, a full three minutes better than last month's time.
Malcolm Moffat recorded 38.06, losing two minutes 33 seconds from his result four weeks ago.
The wooden spoon went to John Hughes for a below par performance.
A total of 34 runners turned out on a chilly evening.
Full results are here.
The event was won decisively by Chloe Irwin with 13 runners in the competition.
Chloe avoided all the walkers, dogs and footballers on the paths around the sports ground.
The weather was perfect and the runners set off as usual at a brisk pace.
One DNF but otherwise a successful morning.
See pictures from the event.
Here, in plenty time ahead of the March 9 event, are the handicaps.
The first points-scoring event of 2010 saw 29 runners participating on a cold and frosty evening with temperatures down to -2c.
Gerald Hartley was on fire though with a time of 27.18 to win the men's race.
Irene Kerr took the women's honour with a time of 45.56.
The wooden spoon, aka Daffy Duck, went to Graeme St John.
The dates of this year's Road Runners' Time Trial Championship events have been agreed and are as follows.
Not surprisingly, Tuesday's event has fallen victim to the weather.
Snow and ice on the route mean it would be too risky to go ahead.
The points-scoring time trials don't begin until next month so there won't be any impact on the 2010 Time Trial championship.
This month's time trial is due to be held on Tuesday, January 12, but is dependent on the weather.
Please keep an eye on the website for an announcement.
In the meantime, here are the handicaps and the results to December 2009.
