A festive well done to Jo Clark, who was first woman in the December time trial and notched a PB of 26.29 in the process.
Jim Tracey's training for the Rome Marathon next year paid off when he was first man in 29.36.
The wooden spoon went to William Martin, dressed as Santa, in what the scorers described as "an embarrassingly slow time" (Santa won't be stopping off at the Hoolaghans' house this year).

No snow, but plenty of Santas ... that was the order of the day at the Track & Field's Christmas Time Trial at Wishaw on Saturday.
The icy conditions meant a re-think of the route to take in the adjoining football park.
First over the line was Christopher Watson followed by Jill Cherry then Greg Cherry.
Music came from Jamie Hendry's iPod and speakers and the event was followed by burgers, crisps and selection boxes - very non-athlete friendly grub!
This month's two winners took significant times off their previous bests.
Peter Knudsen clocked 28.11 (-1.39) while Fiona Moran recorded 31.48 (-1.28).
The wooden spoon went to John Hughes, who was struggling from the after-effects of a heavy cold, otherwise known as man flu.
Twenty-six runners took part on the winter circuit.

The Track & Field section of the club continued their time trials at Chatelherault and it was a second win for David McIsaac.
He recorded a time of eight minutes to cover the winding, up-and-down 2k course.
This was a well-contested race with newcomer Nicholas Burns running a very credible 9:38 minutes - well done to him!
Thirty-five runners competed in this event, an excellent turnout given the near winter conditions.
Dougie O'Hare was first man, coming in on 32.38 and Diane Litterick was first woman on 33.42.
The wooden spoon went to Ian Young.

The September Time Trial will be held on Tuesday August 26 because the timekeepers, Joe and Mags Hoolaghan, can't be at the usual date of the first Tuesday in September.

Very well done to Joseph McCluskey, who won this month's Track & Field Time Trial at Chatelherault yesterday.
Joseph completed the 2k course in a time of 9 minutes 41 seconds.
One of the competitors was heard to mention that the summer holidays are a better time to come first in the event.
That's because there are fewer competitors and that means more sweets for the winner.
Both of August's winners took hefty times off their time trial PBs.
Linsey Thomson was first female on 35 mins 30 secs, 2 mins 11 secs faster than her previous best time.
Robert McCourt was first male on 30 mins 08 secs, 2 mins 34 secs better than his previous best time.
Jim Tracey appears to be claiming the wooden spoon as his own, going home with the trophy once again.
Our record-keepers, Joe and Mags Hoolaghan, note that 33 people took part this month, 20 of them females which may be a time trial record.

The Track & Field July Time Trial was held on Saturday and even though only two runners took part, there was plenty competition betwee them for the trophy.
David McIsaac was the winner with an actual time of 9mins 53secs.
Daniel McLinden was the other runner and he finished on a time of 10mins 14secs.
The wind proved a factor in the event, pushing down their times compared to June.
Alan Tait returned to compete in a Time Trial and scooped the top spot.
Alan clocked a time of 24.26 to take this month's award.
First woman was Phyllis Hands, with a time of 29.08, while the Wooden Spoon went to Wendy Kerr.

The Track & Field side of the club has held its first monthly Time Trial run in the same way as the road runners' events.
Ruth Ferguson (11.51) was the winner of the first trial, which took place on a 2k course at Chatelherault.
She and Daniel McLinden recorded PBs on the course.

Thirteen runners competed in this year's Track Championship and although the numbers were down, the competition was no less stern than usual.
In the last lap, Baver Bari (14.34) overtook Malcolm Moffat, who had led from the start and in the women's event, Anne Hughes (14.58) held off challenges from Jessie Miller and Carole Munro.

Summer evening sunshine greeted 32 runners in this month's time trial in which Malcolm Moffat came in as first male on 38.25.
Louise McNally took the women's top spot on 41.07 with Clare Barr picking up the Wooden Spoon.

This is Joe Hoolaghan's explanation of how the latter track handicaps are calculated: "The 3K handicaps are based on the four-mile handicaps and pro-rated for the shorter distance and then reduced by a small percentage to take into account that the runners can average a faster pace over 3K.
"I hope this all makes sense. The system has worked well in previous years."
It was another night for the young ones with a win for Jamie Hendry, who was first male on 26.37.
Catherine Wotherspoon fulfilled a personal ambition to win the Time Trial, managing it on 31.56.
The Wooden Spoon should have been the property of Jim Tracey but the event organisers took pity on him and asked the question: "How many times can an individual pick up the Wooden Spoon?"

The delay in updating the tables was caused by having to check to see who was a paid-up member among a few people who're relatively new to the club.

A new record was set with 41 runners taking part in the March Time Trial, in which the male winner was Robert McCourt on 33.22.
First woman was Anne Hughes on 33.54 and the wooden spoon went to Elizabeth Martin, although it could also have gone to husband William or Paffa.

After scrutinising the results, the club's very own "Statto", Michael T Wedlock, noted that 22 runners improved their handicap mark on Tuesday night.

The Time Trial Championship is scored in the same way as the Road Runners' Championship.
There will be one race each month, typically on the first or second Tuesday of each month between February and November inclusive.
Athletes' handicap marks will be based on their best time over their last three time trials.
For those with fewer than three runs, their mark will be based on their best time trial.
