The
club's prize-giving ceremony has been hailed a success by the 150 people
who attended the event, where Scottish Olympics track star Allan Wells was
the guest of honour.
Allan led a session at Wishaw the following morning, which was attended by about 30 young athletes and watched by parents, coaches, senior members of the club, Scottish Athletics chairman Mark Hollinshead and Tommy Boyle, whose career includes taking world-famous Motherwell AC athletes Yvonne Murray and Tom McKean to international glory.
This is the full list of Road Runners' prize-winners. The Track & Field list is here.
The Sunday Mail sent a photographer to the track session, which resulted in this coverage.
Nearly
200 pictures taken at the ceremony and the track are now online here
on flickr.
Thanks go to Robert Park, who took most of them. For anyone wanting the originals for printing purposes, Robert has posted on the message board.
The club's committee also wishes to thank everyone for their support of both events and especially to our many sponsors who donated prizes for the raffle, which raised £1,000 for club funds.

Special thanks go to Alex Barr's public relations firm, the big partnership and to Cameron Presentations for providing the PA system and projection equipment on the night.
This is the video we produced for the prize-giving ceremony, to highlight Allan Wells' achievements and inspire our athletes. Special thanks go to BBC Scotland video journalist Chris Sleight, who produced the short film. Find out more about the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
