The icy paths had cleared in time for the new date, which occurred the morning after the Burns Night ceilidh.
Two of the male runners, Graeme Kennedy and Alan Tait, still had the Devil's Burdens from the previous day in their legs but turned in great times.
Joe Fennessey pushed himself in his first race and thanks go to Michael Hampson for a last-minute substitution on the day.
The ladies' A team improved on their 2009 time by about 1min 30secs but still couldn't regain first place, which they won in 2008 and came fourth last year.
Some fancy footwork of a different kind was on display last night at the MAC ceilidh in St Bride's Hall.
Members and their guests turned out to celebrate Burns Night and show off the dance steps you can see in the picture above.
Thanks go to everyone involved in organising the event.

A team of six was among about 600 runners who took on the four-stage event, which started and finished in Falkland.
The route included the testing climbs and descents of East and West Lomond.
The first leg was run by Russell McCoull and Gary Cook, the second by Alex Barr, the third by Graeme Kennedy and Alan Tait (pictured) and the fourth by Mark Coyle.
Graeme and Alan - negotiating the toughest part of the race - lost some time because of a navigating mishap when they missed a checkpoint and had to double back.
The team was 68th out of 120, a similar position to last year's finish.

The Glasgow parkrun is to be incorporated into the club's training schedules.
The race takes place in Pollok Park at 9.30am every Saturday morning and the plan is to make it the club's Saturday morning session every couple of months.
You can see directions from the Boathouse in Strathclyde Park to Pollok Park in Google Maps.
It's quite a testing 5k course, which starts outside the Burrell museum and goes along a road before winding its way along the paths in the middle of the park.
You can read more about it in the most recent newsletter and you can find up-to-date details, such as information about bad weather, in the News section of the site.
Clare Barr, who's run the course many times, has some pointers:
Keep an eye on the club's Training Schedules for further information.
Two pieces of news to kick off the new year with.
The club has a new treasurer, Allan Ferguson, who takes over from Peter Knudsen. Thanks go to Peter for his work in keeping the financial ship steady.
