The British Heart Foundation is asking Motherwell AC if the club can provide up to 12 marshalls to help with two events on Saturday February 2 in Strathclyde Park.
The charity is holding a 6k and 12k jog and is offering a donation to the club in return for people's time on the day.
If you're able to help out, please contact Alison Lunn by email or her phone numbers are 0131 555 5891/07711195744.
Well done to all of the club's runners who competed in the Scottish Athletics West District Cross-Country Championships in Irvine at the weekend.
Four men ran in the 10,000m with Alan Tait leading the contingent on 36.51 followed by Scott Marriott on 39.35, Michael Hampson on 41.47 and William Martin on 44.15.
Mhairi Hendry ran in the cold and wet to finish 13th (13.19) in a strong field of 50 runners over a 3,200m course.
She appears to have improved a lot in recent weeks as she was 11th in the Lanarkshire which was a lot smaller field and a good number of the girls who beat her at Drumpellier were behind her in Irvine.
There was some great coverage in the weekly Lanarkshire papers of Allan Wells' time with the club.
The total raised from the bag-packing on Sunday was an amazing £1,060!
A huge well done to everyone who was involved.
A very big thank you to everyone who pitched in with their time this afternoon at Asda in Motherwell.
About 20 members - road runners, track and field, coaches and officials - took part in bag-packing duties at the supermarket and were rewarded with the constant sound of coins being thrown into collecting boxes.
In some cases, shoppers handed over notes as donations to the club.
William Martin took his treasurer's duties seriously and went off lugging the heavy containers to begin the unenviable task of counting all the cash.
The total will be reported here on the website as soon as it's available. William insists that there will be no recounts.
One person who was absent today was Elizabeth Martin, who was taken into hospital with suspected appendicitis. The club wishes her a speedy recovery.
There were some great results at the Scottish Athletics Indoor League match in the Kelvin Hall today.
The club had a strong contingent from the track and field side. Full details here soon.
