The Hamilton 5k will not take place this year. The Council gave as their reason as the reduced number of entrants in recent years.
The Road Runners sub-committee have decided the replacement race will be the parkrun 5k at Pollok Park on Saturday October 30 at 9.30am.
Participants MUST pre-register their details by Friday Oct 29 at the latest, plus they must print off and bring their barcode or they will not appear in the results. You can register here. As usual MAC runners will need to wear club vests; no vest, no points!
The intention is to meet afterwards in the Burrell Collection cafe for coffee and well-earned cakes. If anyone has family members who intend to come along on the day, it would be great if they would volunteer to help with the race organisation.
