s attended by KM. he had found the meeting quite informative. He had spoken with the schools sports co-ordinator and discussed holding a \lquote come and try\rquote  day for athletics at Wishaw Sports Centre. The meeting would be funded by 
them but the club would need top provide coaches and assistants to organise the events. It would be for children under 12 and advertised through the primary
 schools. The majority of members present agreed to support such an event and suggested it should be held late August/early September 
\par b. The Committee agreed to hold a club bar-b-q on 03 July at 2pm at Chatelherault.
\par c. KM advised that the club physio and the website manager would both be around for the Carluke 10k and invited club members to join him and them for lunch and a drink after the race at the Station Inn.

PH raised the issue of last minute changes to the Championship race schedule. Some discussion took place about past events but the majority of the committee felt the club was for leisure purposes and 
not a serious athletic matter and were not prepared to make any further comments or decisions in connection with it. JT undertook to provide a list of the races as soon as they had been agreed by the roadrunner\rquote s committee.

\par     RB reported that the track and field athletes had attended 2 Young Athletes Meetings. One was held at Grangemouth and the other at Scotstoun. They had also attended an open graded meeting at Dumfries.
\par     7 athletes had participated in the West District Championships at Scotstoun.
\par     The combined U17 and U20 men\rquote s team won the 4 x 100m Gold medal at the Lanarkshire AAA relay Championship that had been held at Wishaw.
\par     There were a further 13 events scheduled in which they wished to participate.

that the club should meet the cost of these courses with recovery being made from the sports council grant when or if that was received. As Elizabeth Morton is a member of the club it was agreed she should receive reimbursement of the fee.
\par     JH undertook to arrange for a rota of coaches to support the new runners in the club to ensure they fully participated in all the sessions. JH will hold a further coaches\rquote 
 meeting early in July with sufficient arrangements being made as to time and relevant agenda.

\par     The \lquote Awards for All\rquote  has now been submitted. It had been slightly delayed because needed an up to date bank statement, which PA had provided. Should get a result in 4 to 6 weeks. Jim Moffat was quite sure we would be successful.
\par     Money would be available from Sports Relief and Community Grants are also available for organised events. Would like to start a \lquote Junior Club\rquote 
 to give them an incentive to attend e.g. a Mr MAC Club. The juniors would be asked to design a logo.
