We had 33 runners participating in sub zero temperatures this February evening, and the conditions were quite slippery in places. Elizabeth Martin won the female event in 31:53, and newish member David MacKenzie won the men’s race in a time of 33:00. Chris MacDonald had another blistering run in a time of 21:05 knocking 34 seconds off his already impressive PB and Jo Clark also set a PB of 26:04 - quite incredible considering the conditions.
In his first time trial for almost one year, Alistair Kerr picked up the wooden spoon (The Jim Tracey Award) to earn himself a marker for next month’s time trial.
Thanks to Fiona Moran, Irene Kerr and Wendy Kerr for helping out.
