\par     He proposed that Joe and Mags Hoolighan, who had faithfully turned out for every time trial, prepared the handicaps and organised the start, should be put forward for honorary membership. The committee agreed this proposal.

JH reported three new coaches had been trained at level 1, they are Robert Gibb, Andrew Clark and Carole Munro. Another female coach was also in the pipeline. This augured well for the future and would mean that the cl
ub would be able to deal with any influx of new members at the track. In addition, Clare Hughes and Chris McCrum were being sponsored for level one coaching by North Lanarkshire Council.
\par A new coaching structure is being introduced and an intermediate group of athletes is being created to bridge the gap between junior and senior athletes. Active workshops have been introduced at both the RoadRunners and Track and Field Sections.
\par There had been a good turn out at the track for the Roadrunners Track championship but confusion over the number of laps run by each athlete means that the winner is still not known.
\par Finally, the RoadRunners continued to reap reward for the work put into training. BH was third male in the Hamilton 5 K. Michael Wedlock took 10 minutes
 off his PB in the half marathon, Alan Tait took 4 minutes off his and Carole Munro was invited to start the race with the elite field.
