Entry Central logoMotherwell AC welcomes membership applications throughout the year and we've made the process easier by introducing an online payment system using the Entry Central website.

The membership form for 2007 has a section where you're asked to indicate your vest size so we can order you a vestin the club colours.

Here are the different options for how you can join or renew your membership:

1. Online: This is done using a secure payment system via the Entry Central website.

The process is simple. Click here to go to Motherwell AC's page on Entry Central and follow the instructions. It's very straightforward but if you have any questions, please email Mark Coyle

Entry Central logoPlease note: There is a £1.50 payment processing fee for a senior athlete membership and a £1 charge for other categories of membership. Also, the Family Membership category is not available online. Finally, if you are a parent and choose to use the online option to take out membership for a child up to the age of 16, we still require you to print out and fill in the Parental Consent Form 2007 (Adobe PDF format) which can be downloaded here. This form is used to grant consent for specific events as well as to indicate consent to join the club.

2. On paper: If you'd prefer to use the paper form, you can download it here (Adobe PDF format). Please complete it and pay in cash or cheque, made payable to "Motherwell Athletics Club". Send both to club secretary Alan Tait (details on the top of the form) or give them to him or treasurer Pat Allen. Again, if you're a parent signing up a child please fill in the Parental Consent Form 2007. If you have a membership inquiry, please contact Alan on 07899 707398 or email alantait73@yahoo.co.uk

You'll need Adobe Reader to download the forms. If you don't have it, click here to get it.

What do I get for my membership?

Coaching sessions and participation in club events as well as sparkling wit and repartie offered during runs in scenic parts of Lanarkshire. Discount in local sports shops such as Run-4-It and Achilles Heel, both in Glasgow. For Track & Field members, there are sessions at Wishaw Leisure Centre and similar discounts in shops. All members are entitled to heavily discounted membership of the Boat House Gym in Strathclyde Park and both sides of the club compete in various events in different parts of Scotland, some of which involve subsidised travel.

Is there a deadline by which I have to pay?

For existing members, yes. This is March of the relevant year. For new members, no. We welcome applications at all times.
