How long have you been a runner/athlete? Two years/li>
What do you enjoy most about running/athletics? Competing in club events, relays etc. Challenging my PBs each time I race. Most of all I enjoy the fresh air and exercise all year round.
Favourite race/event and PB: Favourite race - Loch Ness Marathon, Inverness, October 2005. I enjoyed the scenery, the people and the atmosphere. It was my first marathon and completed it in 3.36. I am looking forward to returning this year and hopefully will beat my time. Half Marathon in Inverness March 2004: PB: 1:34. 10k in Stirling in September PB: 42 mins.
Favourite food: Chinese food. Pasta dishes.
Favourite holiday destination: Don't have a favourite but have enjoyed numerous holidays in Jersey, the Channel Islands, Puerta Pollensa, Majorca.
Hobbies (apart from running/athletics): Gardening, yoga, walking, cycling and swimming.
Lifetime's ambition: Athletics - to get my 10K time down to sub 40 mins and half marathon: 1:30. Personal: To retire and buy a small cottage in the country or a villa in Majorca.
